University enrollment fell by over 200,000 in the past year, marking the 6th straight year of decline. Overall, student enrollment in universities has fallen by 2.6 million students compared with 2011. That’s a huge decline. If enrollment is falling, it stands to reason that demand for student housing will also decline. How to make sense of the numbers and decide where to invest?
